5 things you need to know about CBD

In the UK, the CBD market is growing rapidly. Maintaining good health is vital as everything else in your life stems from this. More than ever before, people are choosing to take CBD as a daily supplement and you should too.

If you are new to CBD or there are still some grey areas for you when it comes to your understanding of CBD, this is a must read! Here is some basic information and a few of things we are most frequently asked cleared up for you!

1. The use of CBD is vital for maintaing and supporting great health

We often get asked “But, why do I need to take CBD? There’s nothing wrong with me.” You do not have to have anything “wrong” with you to take CBD. It’s for everyone no matter how healthy you may be.

CBD provides a source of essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, healthy fatty acids like Omega-3, protein and it’s organically grown too. By providing such a unique nutritional content, CBD hemp oil should be added to your diet daily. Since the THC (the part that makes you high) has been removed-there are no side effects just benefits.

Hemp was one of the most widely grown crops up until the worldwide ban on cannabis kicked in about 100 years ago. It was part of everyone’s diet! People often overlook the fact that it is an important element in human and animal nutrition due to irrational fear and the drugs policies since the ban. When, in fact, it’s one of the most beneficial plants out there.

2. You won’t fail a drug test and it is 100% legal

When it comes to cannabis, drugs tests pick up THC (the compound that does make you high).  Drugs test are carried out because THC is known for the feelings of euphoria it provides and this is the illegal part!

Most hemp oil or CBD products are sold with much lower levels of THC (less than 0.2%) so most consumers will never have a problem passing a drugs test.

Remember, CBD isn’t even being tested for and most work places aren’t going to have a problem with you using it- it’s non-psychoactive.

All of this said, individuals who take UNUSUALLY large doses of CBD (1000-2000mg of hemp oil daily) could theoretically fail a drugs test but let’s put this in perspective…

We suggest that our customers do not go over the recommended 200mg a day of hemp oil. Even if you took 3 of our CBD capsules morning, noon, and night (3x10mg) and then use our CBD oil spray 4 times a day (4x5mg) you are still only having 50mg of CBD. Nowhere near 1000mg or 2000mg to be able to fail a drugs test.

CBD is legal, because hemp is legal in the UK. Hemp is a plant that is safe, natural, and non-toxic. It can be used for almost anything. There need not to be any grey areas when it comes to CBD.

When it comes to cannabis, however, it is still illegal to use it or possess it. Maybe this is why people tend to get confused. Cannabidiol (CBD) though, is not considered a controlled substance in the UK. It is therefore 100% legal and can be freely distributed in the UK without restrictions.

If you want to use CBD products it is TOTALLY legal to do so.

3. Using CBD will not make you high or stoned

People often believe that because CBD is associated with the cannabis plant, that if they take it will make them “stoned” like smoking cannabis does! WRONG!

CBD is simply a non-intoxicating component which has enormous potential. Your state of mind etc. will not change if you take CBD at all. Although it can make changes in the body- this isn’t one of them.

The way we extract CBD allows us to pull all of the natural and beneficial nutrients out of the cannabis plant without getting anything nasty in there as well. Not only are you NOT getting high, but you are getting a product from us that’s natural and safe.

4. There are many different ways to take CBD

It’s available in many forms, and all the different means of consumption, make CBD a very versatile product.

The best methods will depend on the person but always remember to start with the recommended serving size, then increase from there.

Here at CBD Life UK we have a method of ingestion to suit everyone. The sublingual route of taking CBD is probably the same as the oral route (capsules) with regards to easiness, simplicity, and comfort.

If you are not familiar with the term ‘sublingual’ it basically means ‘absorption under the tongue’. This is how you use our CBD oil and full extract paste!

You can take our capsules, vape our products, apply CBD to your skin via our balm, enjoy our edibles and we also have a dab section.

5. Pets can use CBD too

CBD is perfectly safe for animals and we have a lot of customers who specifically buy for their pets. The truth is the same supplements you take can also be given to your pets. We would just recommend adding the drops of hemp oil to your pet’s food. A product we would recommend is our 300mg CBD Hemp Oil.

Simply add a few drops to their meals once or twice and day and monitor how your pet reacts. Watch as they have a new lease of life and play as if they were puppies or kittens again!
