In addition to CBD having hardly any side effects, it is not addictive either.

Because CBD is made from high CBD and low THC hemp it makes it non-addictive. CBD does not stimulate the brains “pleasure hormone” dopamine system.

CBD is unlike any addictive substance. Because it does not produce an excessive release of dopamine, it cannot get you high. This means that the euphoria associated with opioids, or the intense relaxation that nicotine causes, are not present when you use CBD.

Although CBD may contain a tiny amount of THC, it will never be enough to get you high and won’t carry any sort of addiction risk.

In addition to this there has never been a reported case if CBD causing death. This is because CBD does not interact with any receptors in the brainstem (the part that controls your heart rate and breathing.

Hopefully this short blog has cleared up any misconceptions you have may regarding CBD being addictive. Just remember, if you are just starting CBD just start off low and work your way up until you find a happy medium.

CBD also has no such withdrawal symptoms.
