What is Lions Mane mushroom?

Lions Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a mushroom used across Asia for many years, namely in traditional chinese medicine. There name comes from the way they look, as they grow, the strike a resemblance of a Lions Mane.

Now lions mane mushroom powder, lions mane mushroom capsules & other such products are readily available globally, with more and more people opting to take nootropic products throughout Europe and America.

With so many products being available, we knew it was important to make sure we only sold the highest quality lions mane mushroom extract, that’s why ours is a 20:1 extract, you can read more about what that means further down this page.

What are the benefits of Lions Mane mushroom?

By law, we cannot discuss the ‘benefits’ of the Lions Mane Mushroom but the growth in popularity of the product in the UK over the last few years speaks for itself! We find it is as popular with our sponsored athletes as we do with parents of some of our staff.

If you’re interested in trying Lion’s Mane, we would recommend doing some research and seeing if it is the right mushroom capsule for you. If not, take a look at our vast array of mushroom capsules, we are sure you will find what you’re looking for.

What does 20:1 Extract mean?

Many companies have opted to use the full mushroom within their products as opposed to an extract. Using the full mushroom results in the finished product likely not containing enough of the active ingredient. This is why we only use extract.

Although there is only 400mg of extract contained within the capsule, there’s 20x the amount of active ingredient stored in it (8000mg)! This is why we say the product is made using a 20:1 Extract.

Are these Magic Mushrooms? Will I get high?

The only thing magic about these mushrooms is their premium quality! None of our mushroom capsules contain any compound that will give any psychoactive effects to users.
